Thank you to everyone who logged onto our August Zoom Team Gathering last month. Your vulnerable expressions and unique perspectives on how you experience professional loneliness deeply affected me. I want to thank you for your practical suggestions intended to deepening our shared sense of connection to one another and our shared work throughout each new season. I love this quote by Dietrich Bonhoeffer in his book "Life Together"... "The person who loves their dream of community will destroy community, but the person who loves those around them will create community." I am also reminded of the words in Hebrews 10:25; "Let us not give up the habit of meeting together, as some are doing. Instead, let us encourage one another all the more."
