Read on below and you can find all sorts of helpful information about how to get started with me. I've included a sampling of some of the common situations I work with, but it is not exhaustive. If you are experiencing something different than what you see there, get in touch. It's likely that I can help you too.
GETTING STARTED WITH ME:
Scheduling
I do all of my own scheduling and currently have a variety of times available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The quickest and easiest way get an appointment with me is to email me at [email protected] or you may call or text me at 407.906.7792.
Payment
The standard fee for all clients for a 50-minute session is $150. I accept cash, personal checks, debit cards, credit cards, and health savings account cards. All card charges will include a 3.5% processing fee. It is the policy of Elbow Tree that the session fee is to be paid prior to the end of each session.
Discounted Fees
Pre-paying for 8-10 sessions knocks 20% off of the hourly fee. 8 bundled sessions is $960 and 10 bundled sessions is $1200. Your bundle may be distributed among multiple family members.
Insurance
I do not take any form of insurance other than the use of an HSA Card, but would be glad to make a helpful referral to another clinician locally who might be in a position to accommodate that for you. Other licensed clinicians at Elbow Tree are able to provide you with a receipt for you to submit or some amount of reimbursement from your health care provider.

At your request, I will email you our intake forms for you to review and complete. All forms must be completed online prior to your first appointment.

When you arrive to the office in Jacksonville Beach, park anywhere and feel free to come on into the waiting area and find a cozy place to relax until our session begins. I will be out at the top of the hour to greet you, so don't worry if it's close the time we are supposed to meet and you have not seen me yet. I may be wrapping up a session just ahead of you. Also, feel free to use the restroom in the office prior to our session. For our St. Augustine clients, please park behind the office and not in the parking lot of our neighbors "Back 40 Urban Fresh" next door. Come in through the marked entrance nearest the driveway.
Cancellations
Please give me 24-hours notice if you need to cancel our appointment. Last minute cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full session fee unless it is a medical emergency.

A Little More About Me
My primary goal in working with clients is to pursue authenticity in relationships with self and others. My own journey through life includes stories of chronic illness, depression, addiction, and infertility. It is only through doing my own internal work that I can sit with you and offer what I believe is most helpful, a safe place to be truly known. I believe that knowing and accepting where you are is the first step in the process of movement towards a rich life that includes improved emotional and relational health. I want you to know that things can be different, that life can be enjoyable again!
In addition to being a Certified Anger Resolution Therapist, I am passionate about working with couples at every stage of a relationship. I offer Prepare/Enrich assessment and counseling for couples who are engaged to be married or are considering becoming engaged. I am also EMDR trained, which allows me to walk through the darkest of valleys with bruised souls who have survived trauma of any kind.
If you are feeling hopeless, depressed, or stuck; afraid that your life will never be what it should have been, I would be honored to sit with you and help you grieve your losses. Let me shoulder a bit of the burden, cleanse a bit of the wound. Maybe together we can find the hope that's been misplaced along the way.
