Read on below and you can find all sorts of helpful information about how to get started with me. I've included a sampling of some of the common situations I work with, but it is not exhaustive. If you are experiencing something different than what you see there, get in touch. It's likely that I can help you too.
GETTING STARTED WITH ME:
Scheduling I do all of my own scheduling. I have a variety of times available. The quickest and easiest way get an appointment with me is to schedule online. You'll be able to see my available slots and grab one for yourself, as well as leave me personal note if you wish. If you think there is something we need to discuss before you schedule, feel free to email, text or call. Once you schedule your appointment, you will receive both text and email confirmations of your scheduled appointment with links to your secure client portal.
Payment The standard fee for all clients for a 50-minute session is $150. I accept cash, personal checks, debit cards, credit cards, and health savings account cards. All card charges will include a 3.5% processing fee. It is the policy of Elbow Tree that the session feeis to be paid prior to the end of each session.
Discounted Fees Pre-paying for 8-10 sessions knocks 20% off of the hourly fee. 8 bundled sessions is $960 and 10 bundled sessions is $1200. Your bundle may be distributed among multiple family members.
Insurance I do not take any form of insurance other than the use of an HSA Card, but would be glad to make a helpful referral to another clinician locally who might be in a position to accommodate that for you. Other licensed clinicians at Elbow Tree are able to provide you with a receipt for you to submit or some amount of reimbursement from your health care provider.
Forms All intake forms must be completed online prior to your first appointment with me by completing online intake forms in your secure client portal.
Arrival When you arrive to the office in Jacksonville Beach, park anywhere and feel free to come on into the waiting area and find a cozy place to relax until our session begins. I will be out at the top of the hour to greet you, so don't worry if it's close the time we are supposed to meet and you have not seen me yet. I may be wrapping up a session just ahead of you. Also, feel free to use the restroom in the office prior to our session.
Cancellations Please give me 24-hours notice if you need to cancel our appointment. Last minute cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full session fee unless it is a medical emergency.

A Little More About Me
I graduated with my bachelors from Flagler College in Psychology and Criminology and obtained my masters degree from the University of North Florida in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and I hold a certification in Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT). During my AAT training I was exposed to incorporating dogs and horses into therapeutic partnerships.
I have years of front line experience working with children, adolescents, college aged, and adults facing emotional, behavioral, trauma, and substance use related challenges. I have provided services for these populations diagnosed with conduct related disorders, anxiety, depression, gender identity issues and more. Utilizing evidence-based modalities, I enjoy clients and their families to overcome whatever they may be facing to create a plan for a brighter future.
I am trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am eager to help you and your loved ones continue to grow in to the amazing people you are destined to become.
