I am currently accepting clients in Saint Augustine on Wednesdays and Virtually by appointment only.
WELCOME TO ELBOW TREE! Read on below and you can find all sorts of helpful information about how to get started with me. I've included a sampling of some of the common situations I work with, but it is not exhaustive. If you are experiencing something different than what you see there, get in touch. It's likely that I can help you too. GETTING STARTED WITH ME:
Scheduling I do all of my own scheduling. I see clients on Mondays and Wednesdays in St. Augustine and Tuesdays at the Jax Beach location. The quickest and easiest way get an appointment with me is to email or call. If you think there is something we need to discuss before you schedule, feel free to email, text or call.
Payment The standard fee for all clients for a 50-minute session is $125. I accept cash, personal checks, debit cards, credit cards, and health savings account cards. All card charges will include a 3.5% processing fee. It is the policy of Elbow Tree that the session feeis to be paid prior to the end of each session.
Discounted Fees Pre-paying for 8-10 sessions knocks 20% off of the hourly fee. 8 bundled sessions is $800 and 10 bundled sessions is $1000. Your bundle may be distributed among multiple family members. I do offer a sliding scale for any financial hardship. Please discuss this option with me in our initial session.
Insurance I do not take any form of insurance other than the use of an HSA Card, but would be glad to make a helpful referral to another clinician locally who might be in a position to accommodate that for you. Other licensed clinicians at Elbow Tree are able to provide you with a receipt for you to submit or some amount of reimbursement from your health care provider.
Forms All intake forms must be completed online prior to your first appointment with me by completing online intake forms found at:
Arrival When you arrive to the office, park anywhere and feel free to come on into the waiting area and find a cozy place to relax until our session begins. I will be out at the top of the hour to greet you, so don't worry if it's close the time we are supposed to meet and you have not seen me yet. I may be wrapping up a session just ahead of you. Also, feel free to use the restroom in the office prior to our session.
Cancellations Please give me 24-hours notice if you need to cancel our appointment by calling or emailing me. Last minute cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full session fee unless it is a medical emergency.

A Little More About Me
I was born and raised in Georgia and moved to Florida to pursue my Master's in Orlando. I love going to the beach and playing volleyball with my sweet friends and family.
My heart has always opened up to people who need care, love, advocacy and acceptance to embrace who they really are. Each of us has our own unique story, and it’s my goal to help you explore your experiences and relationships you’ve encountered in life.
Through an integrative, attachment-oriented approach to counseling, I promise to walk alongside of you on your path to healing. My hope is that my office can be a place where you can speak what feels unspeakable, and come to a place where you are seen, heard and valued. I strive to create a safe and caring space for all of my clients to discover the impact that different experiences and relationships have on us emotionally and neurologically.
We all encounter pain in our own ways, but I believe at the bottom of our individual struggles lies the common ground of shame; disguising itself around thoughts of not being good enough, smart enough, capable enough, or just plain unlovable. However, beyond this shame we have a sense of worthiness to uncover. In the process of naming our wounds and owning our story, we can start to believe in our sense of belonging and self-worth that we are all born with. My background and education has prepared me to work with a wide range of clients. I graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary with my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling. Prior to this, I also received my bachelor's degree in Education from the University of West Georgia. Aided by the experience of teaching education for several years, and the knowledge gained in both of these degrees, I believe I can connect on a deeper level with those I help. I specialize in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, relational issues, parenting, grief, disability, burnout, and body image issues.
