I'm so glad that you have taken the first step to seek counseling! It takes courage to walk into the unknown. I will walk alongside you in this process and I look forward to meeting you. Below you will find some helpful information, including a list of common reasons you may seek counseling and a little more about me and my credentials. GETTING STARTED WITH ME:
Scheduling
I do all of my own scheduling. I have a variety of times available. The quickest and easiest way get an appointment with me is to email or call. If you think there is something we need to discuss before you schedule, feel free to email, text or call. Once you schedule your appointment, you will receive both text and email confirmations of your scheduled appointment with links to your secure client portal also found at:
Payment
The standard fee for all clients for a 50-minute session is $150. I accept cash, personal checks, debit cards, credit cards, and health savings account cards. All card charges will include a 3.5% processing fee. It is the policy of Elbow Tree that the session fee is to be paid prior to the end of each session.
Discounted Fees
Pre-paying for 8-10 sessions knocks 20% off of the hourly fee. 8 bundled sessions is $960 and 10 bundled sessions is $1200. Your bundle may be distributed among multiple family members.
Insurance
I am an out of network provider, which means I do not accept insurance, but would be glad to make a helpful referral to another clinician locally who might be in a position to accommodate that for you.

Arrival
When you arrive to the office in Mandarin, park anywhere and feel free to jump in the elevator and come on up to the 4th floor of the Bartram Park building waiting area and find a cozy place to relax until our session begins. I will be out at the top of the hour to greet you, so don't worry if it's close the time we are supposed to meet and you have not seen me yet. I may be wrapping up a session just ahead of you. Also, feel free to use the restroom in the office prior to our session.
Cancellations
Please give me 24-hours notice if you need to cancel our appointment by calling or emailing me. Last minute cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full session fee unless it is a medical emergency.

A little more about me...
Moriah completed her undergraduate degree in psychology at Lee University before attending Richmont Graduate University where she earned her masters degree in Clinical Mental Health with a certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy. She and her husband moved to St. John’s County August of 2023 to plant a church in the area.
Moriah is passionate about walking alongside others in their pain with the goal of restoration and healing. Moriah views every client holistically, meaning that a person is made up of an integration of the mind, body, and spirit. As a counselor, Moriah pays attention to the family dynamics, physical well-being, social, cultural, economic factors and spirituality of those she sees. Moriah has experience counseling children, adolescents, couples, families, women of various ages with concerns such as: anxiety, depression, divorce, grief, emotional disorders and adjustment issues. Moriah has experience with clients in collegiate mental health settings working with additional issues such as vocational concerns and crisis management.
Moriah and her husband, JV, have been married since 2018. During her free time, Moriah enjoys hiking with her husband and their dog Lucy, photography, going to the beach, Disney and visiting North Carolina to spend time with family. Moriah and her husband are expecting their first child in January in 2023.
