Are you worried about your child? Do you find yourself at a loss for who they have become? If you are finding it hard to communicate with your child and need them to have a safe space of their own, I would love to help! I enjoy working with older elementary students through high school. I also find college age/young adults pretty cool too! These are challenging stages of life and I am prepared to help them navigate the struggles that come along the way.
Below you will find some helpful information, including a list of common reasons you may seek counseling and a little more about me and my credentials. Please reach out if you have any questions along the way. GETTING STARTED WITH ME:
Scheduling I do all of my own scheduling. On Monday afternoons I see clients from 4:30-8:30 at our Jacksonville Beach office. I also see clients at our Saint Augustine office on Friday afternoons from 4:30-8:30. The quickest and easiest way get an appointment with me is to email or call. If you think there is something we need to discuss before you schedule, feel free to email, text or call. Once you schedule your appointment, you will receive both text and email confirmations of your scheduled appointment with links to your secure client portal also found at:
Payment The standard fee for all clients for a 50-minute session is $100. I accept cash, personal checks, debit cards, credit cards, and health savings account cards. All card charges will include a 3.5% processing fee. It is the policy of Elbow Tree that the session feeis to be paid prior to the end of each session.
Discounted Fees Pre-paying for 8-10 sessions knocks 20% off of the hourly fee. 8 bundled sessions is $640 and 10 bundled sessions is $800. Your bundle may be distributed among multiple family members. I do offer a sliding scale for any financial hardship. Please discuss this option with me in our initial session.
Insurance I do not take any form of insurance other than the use of an HSA Card, but would be glad to make a helpful referral to another clinician locally who might be in a position to accommodate that for you. Other licensed clinicians at Elbow Tree are able to provide you with a receipt for you to submit or some amount of reimbursement from your health care provider.
Forms All intake forms must be completed online prior to your first appointment with me by completing online intake forms found at:
Arrival When you arrive to the office, park anywhere and feel free to come on into the waiting area and find a cozy place to relax until our session begins. I will be out at the top of the hour to greet you, so don't worry if it's close the time we are supposed to meet and you have not seen me yet. I may be wrapping up a session just ahead of you. Also, feel free to use the restroom in the office prior to our session.
Cancellations Please give me 24-hours notice if you need to cancel our appointment by calling or emailing me. Last minute cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full session fee unless it is a medical emergency.

A Little More About Me
To tell a little about myself, I am a proud graduate of Mississippi State University and have worked as a Middle and Elementary School Counselor in both Mississippi and Florida. I am excited to have this opportunity to focus on older elementary students all the way through high school, helping to navigate those tricky situations that often arise during adolescence. Kids are my passion; I think they are fascinating for a million reasons. I also know each stage brings it's own set of challenges and want to help kids and parents through those phases of adolescence.
